General
I am 26 and have long dark brown hair with blonde streaks at the front and I'm slightly big boned. I love nature and love to forage for wild plants and berries. I find it enjoyable walking around on a warm day looking for free food and other things that are growing around us all the time but that people have forgotten are edible. You feel really close to nature and history.
I like ghosts and old buildings and like going on walks in the countryside looking for old burial mounds, standing stones and other ancient structures.
Music
My taste in music might be descibed as eclectic. I mainly like what you might call gothic music like HIM, AFI, Within Temptation, Nightwish, but like a fair amount of indie and folky music too. I like bands like Antony and the Johnsons, Joanna Newsom, Duke Special and Velvet Underground.
Another of my likes is rock/metal music which stems from my like of goth metal. In my collection are bands like Deathstars, Cradle of Filth, System of a Down, Slipknot, Rammstein, Marilyn Manson and Breed 77 among others.
I don't like pop music or any rap/RnB as it's mainly all rubbish.
Films and Television
I have quite a large collection of DVDs and like anything that can transport me to another place or time.
I like gangster films like Goodfellas and Scarface and also the Thomas Harris series. Other films I like include Interview with the Vampire, Lord of the Rings, The Wickerman, Saving Private Ryan and Mississippi Burning.
I am currently addicted to Lost, 24 and Stargate Atlantis. I also like watching Most Haunted and Sensing Murder, but apart from those, I don't really watch much television.
Literature
I didn't used to do much reading until a couple of years ago. I always loved the film Interview with the Vampire and thought I'd read the book. I've now read a fair few of Anne Rice's novels.
So far, in the Vampire Chronicles, I've read Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, Queen of the Damned and The Body Thief. I've now started reading Lives of the Mayfair Witches as the two series of books cross over in a later Vampire Chronicle book.
Other books I've read or on my shelf are The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings and Dracula, Dante's Inferno and The Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe.
